A wee bit about me...
I started painting pictures for want of a clear direction coming out of university.

I’d studied History of Art and English Lit and assumed a career in publishing or marketing lay ahead, because only a select few earn a living from the hard graft of making art. I know this for a fact; my Dad’s a sculptor and working part time at his studio is eye-opening to the thrills and spills of being a contemporary artist.
So there I was - employed part time at dad’s studio, and finishing my post-grad. My pal’s birthday posed a conundrum because without much money I couldn’t afford a big present, so I decided to paint her a picture. She loved it. I was chuffed!
From there, I started experimenting with various styles such as Cubism, Naturalism, portraiture and Old Master copies and was humbled when folk approached to buy.
I’m still learning/experimenting (and some days cursing the brush!) but I am passionate about creating beautiful pictures for people to enjoy in their homes.
Have a browse and please get in touch with any queries or ideas - I’d love to chat.
